Emilia Ball's Profile
I am 19 years old and have been working on the Aspire account for nearly two years, working within Output Services and DPS. I came into Fujitsu on an Apprenticeship scheme and rapidly became a permanent member of Fujitsu staff within 7 months or so. I started up in an admin role and have managed to work my way up to become a Service Delivery Manager based in my home town Telford!
I dip my toes in and out of sport on occasions, I frequently go running and like to take my two dogs up the Wrekin and occasionally like to play a spot of tennis and enjoy a good swim! I love my two dogs to pieces, Ozzy and Ziggy, I also have a hamster called Harry and was very closer to buying a ferret, you can put them on a lead! I am scared of horses, cows and pigeons. Oh and sloths. Ergh. I like to play outside of my comfort zone, therefore the idea of a skydive excited me! What a way to end my teen life! I wonder what I will be doing in my twenties… |
Cassie Greenhow's Profile
I have worked on the Aspire account for nearly 4 years and will have been in DPS for 2 years in October.
I joined Fujitsu on the Graduate scheme, it was one of the best decisions I made from a career point of view. I started off in the Change Management team in Telford, headed up by Mike McPartlin and learnt lots of valuable skills before heading across the road to Boyd House to be part of the Operational SDM team. As I was coming to the end of my Graduate scheme, I was offered the opportunity to work in what was OSG. The first few months were a rather large learning curve, and very challenging. I worked initially as the Incident Manager and then became the Change Manager a year later. With the merging of OSG and ISG I was offered the opportunity to work under Caroline Masters as an SDM in Netherton alongside the Input Services side of DPS, and this is now where I currently reside. When moving up to OSG, I also moved up to Liverpool to live with my boyfriend who worked in the city. The city of Liverpool is fantastic, and I have thoroughly enjoyed living in the North West, although it does rain quite frequently.... Outside of work I play in a netball league and train during the week, and have adopted a kitten called Barney from the RSPCA. I have recently had a milestone birthday, and decided to set myself a list of things that I want to have achieved within the next decade. One of those was doing a sky dive, and it now looks as though I will be able to tick it off my bucket list! |
Fred Barnett's Profile
Having only taken up cycling in January 2012 , after reaching “ that milestone” where your age matches your waistline and health risks increase I needed to lose weight and get fitter.
I decided on road cycling, Starting out with a ten mile ride twice week and increasing the distance and frequency each week
I soon got up to twenty miles three to four times a week and could easily complete that in about an hour, plus a two hour ride on one of the weekend days, but I needed a challenge to keep me motivated
A friend recommended the Cymru Etape and I though why not!, I bought a bike through the cycle to work scheme and entered the event
The Etape Cymru is an ‘epic’ lung busting, leg aching closed road sportive which challenges all level of riders. The route starts and finishes in Wrexham and passes through the Clwydian Range (an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) with stunning scenery. The year’s 147 km route still takes in several well known climbs including the legendary Horseshoe Pass.
I have already entered for next year and perhaps I can get a few more to join me.
