The 20th September saw the end of several months of hard effort by numerous teams within Fujitsu who have undertaken a Global Corporate Challenge to achieve as many steps as possible since it started in May.
The winning team with the most steps can now be revealed as -
'FLOCKER'S TROTTERS'
The Global Corporate Challenge, "Onwards We Step" became so competitive between the two teams within Document Processing Solutions (Formally Input and Output Services) based at Netherton and Warrington that a forfeit will be undertaken by the losing team.
For this year's annual challenge, the two teams, "Flocker's Trotters" and "Taylored to Fit", jointly decided in advance that three "Volunteers" from the losing team will undertake a Tandem Parachute Jump to raise money for two very different but equally deserving charities, 'Cotton Shed' and 'Help for Heroes'. The sponsorship was generated by all team members.
The jumps took place on Saturday 20th October 2012 at Skydive North West based in the Lake District and after a couple of hours delay, all the jumps went ahead as planned and what a fantastic day it was for all the jumpers and their family and friends.
